Who we are
The Bravehouse (“we”, “us”) designs and builds websites and business web apps. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
Contact: [Your legal name or company name], [Address, if applicable], [email address].
What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, business website or Instagram (if you give it), what you need help with, and your message.
If you message us on Instagram, we receive whatever you choose to share there.
Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare your free demo and, if you decide to work with us, to deliver your project.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run our business:
Google Firebase, which hosts this website and stores contact form enquiries in a database located in London (europe-west2). Google may process some technical data outside the UK. Where it does, appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to [12 months] if we don’t go on to work together. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as the law requires (usually six years for accounting records).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for a copy in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email us at [email address].
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
